Hello bro, Huawei Mate 9 is the best phone currently in terms of softwares and hardwares. but not the best in terms of camera. About 5 phones on the market beat it in terms of camera. Infact This mate 9 pro phone is better than Google Pixel XL but Google Pixel XL is more expensive than Mate 9 pro. But do not worry very soon like 6 months time the price will start coming down gradually so that every one can have one by the time mate 10 comes in October or November 2017.

And chinese people are not under-men. They have the right to make peaople pay for the value of their smartphones.
Specially when you know (without speaking of taxes VAT and so on...), taht 30% of the price of those flagship smartphones are made of royalties paied to abusive patents.

i like huawei phone since all phone have full active dual sim card
currently i have P9 but i notice now huawei phone become more expensive.
the price for mate 9 pro now is 848$ which really expensive and for what
there is no water proof phone
the camera is good but not perfect
the updating on the phone really slow.
so can anyone tell me why the phone really expensive now

as, 29 Dec 2016please help me....mate 9 or mate 9 pro??Honestly, if you don't need more that 64 Gb internal storage (+ til 256 Gb SDCard), Mate 9 is the best. To my opinion... and will be less expensive.
This for the international version.
And if you are a geek, fan of XDA forum and so on, you could event buy a chinese Mate 9 with 6 Gb RAM / 128 GB storage and all SD extensions abilities. If frequencies a compatible with those of your country, and you'll have to be able to unlock bootloader and flash a ROM as well. Things i used to do, but i don't feel to do anymore, now i have gave up Samsung machines.

Wert dert, 28 Dec 2016Are this model really worth? How about low light picture? A... moreMy (personnal) criterias are :
- No QHD, that hurts my (tired) eyes, and it is no use and drain the battery.
- The biggest full HD screen possible, but not more than 6 "
- No "Edge" if possible, 'cause i lost numerous emails and SMS with the s7 Edge .
- Big battery and endurance.
- Big internal storage and slot µSDXC.
- Photo abilities are less important for me because even with a reflex, i'm not good at shooting pictures.
My wife is a kind of magician at shooting pictures.
I was no good with tje s7 and i am not good with Mate 9 camera.
But my wife is able of excellent pictures on both of them :-)
For me it is the best Android smartphone i've ever had (and i've had almost a dozen of them).
I just would have loved that an international version of Mate 9 with 128 Gb would exist.
The only reason that makes me looking around here about the Mate 9 Pro, is the internal storage amount.
But i surely would prefer a Mate 9 non-pro, with 128 Gb internal storage.
Sorry for my weak english.

The screen actually is not that curve.. only the glass is curve covering the screen
the camera performance not that superb if compare with P9 Plus or S7 Edge/S6 Edge+ camera even it came with same engineer leica
It feels funny the home button can even be pressed like samsung or iphone home button..
The price is too pricey skyrocketed like Iphone 7 Plus Price It's make me feel this phone need to compete Iphone 7 with strong features otherwise people with definitely chose Iphone 7, Samsung S7 Edge
