Just wandering how this display will be protected?
For that reason I think Samsung's 'Fold' seems to be bit more practical.

Samsung made a huge mistake making the fold with those big bezels on the fold. Now they're going to flounder because the mate x truly has the best specifications

Huge achievement for smartphone making and a way better implementation than Galaxy Fold! The design and the outer folding of the screen is well executed, and I understand the pricing. If you want this exciting tech folks you can buy for the actual salty price or wait a few years until these things become the norm.

I remember, those Motorola & Nokia flap phones with 2 screens. One inside one smaller screen outside. Samsung Fold looks like just the XXXL version of that. But these Huawei device is something practical except price.

Samsung fold-onward. thus it'll protects the screen from scratches (flexible material couldn't be scratch-resistant) . But this design prevents it from using one same screen for both folded and unfolded. Sad.
Huawei fold-backward. Screen will scratchs a lot, but bigger screen when folded.

foldable, bezel less, 6.6inch without unfolding, back screen for selfies, 85% charge in 30 minutes and 5G?! good luck Samsung XD

No chipset? No camera? Hmm. Why even post when you don't have full specs? Battery is a lot better than Sam's though.

Samsung Fold will flop thanks to this, I love Samsung and have had Samsung phones for 7 years, but this thing just blows everythong ele out of the water, I hope Huawei makes billions off of this phone

Huawei has some clever engineers thats for sure, as do Samsung of course, but my feeling is tha Samsung had the Fold's design ready for a long time now, but Huawei was thinking further ahead.. This phone really is the absolute best folding phone design

Samsung Fold just got steamrolled.. This I will be buying 100% certain. This looks so much more futuristic than Samsung Fold, like 3 years ahead.. Huawei is my new favourite brand, farewell Samsung

Absolutely agree. Samsung Fold external display is unusable except for quick messaging or gps directions. You basically have to use it open all time. And the internal/external display is much smaller than Huawei.
