It's not about charger price, it's about them removing something crucial for "environmental goals".
Kirin 9010 is not 2014 processor.

I have used several Huawei phones before, so I never doubt their quality. But a plastic screen is a plastic screen, and this device plastic screen has two creases.

So if you've got a Mate XS that's still functional today, good for you. But if not, well that's $2400 and a worthless piece of e-waste down the drain.
