Mobile phones, I had them all, but Mate XT is the miracle of miracles and the biggest miracle since Mate 20X in 2019. I have been using mobile phones since 1987 (my first Nokia NMT), so in the beginning of 90s Nokia was the miracle (e.g. Communicator) then the first Samsung Galaxy which always has beaten any iPhone (expensive but nonsense), but 2014 was a turning point with huge miracle or Huawei Ascend Mate 7 (6 inch)in 2014. Bye Samsung.

I own the Huawei Mate XS which came out a ... moreThat's a big problem, really weird design choice, first time I noticed this, both in the Mate XS and this phone.
Now, a look at what seems to be the phone's bundle package(?) A case of sorts is present, I can't tell if the part attached to the left of the case is for some sort of pen ( which I doubt it is) or the screen hinge.
By the way it looks, it seems to be for the hinge, which is just a real massive improvement to the screens protection, at least the outer screens left side, maybe some other case or something we don't see in the package would at least surround the rest of the screens? But considering how the phone folds toghether it may make it look off... or not fold all the way. Unlike the Mate XS and XS 2, the XT's 3rd screen is really, unprotected on it's far side...
Anyway, at least they learned from the Mate XS and XS2 to add a little more protection... and also sacrificed some in the process...

hosein-hb, 12 Sep 2024So what now?I'm excited about the idea of a triple-folding smartphone but I just hope that Huawei would make the Mate XT a really high-quality phone. They need to correct all the mistakes that they made with the Mate XS and they also certainly need to make sure that they don't make any new ones with the Mate XT. Both phones are really expensive. I already lost money buying the XS. It's sitting in it's box in my house right now gathering dust because it's much too expensive for me to replace the screen. Tough luck!

I own the Huawei Mate XS which came out a couple of years ago and being a folding phone, I was bent on getting my hands on it at all costs. When I eventually did, I found the fact that Huawei had decided to make the screen an external one foolhardy. I was never able to find a screen protector and/or protective case that did justice to this phone's peculiar build therefore my phone screen was very vulnerable and low and behold, the screen got broken one day when it fell out of my hands FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! Up to this very day, I have not had the guts to cough out the outrageous sum of money that is required to buy a replacement screen and also to pay the workmanship costs to get my Huawei Mate XS smartphone repaired.
This Huawei Mate XT that Huawei is about to release looks much too similar to my Mate XS. I'm not sure that Huawei has corrected the mistakes that they made with the XS. I just hope the XT's screen is much much stronger. Again, Huawei releases another extremely expensive smartphone..........hope it will be worth it this time.
To do with the guy who says that Huawei is the first to come out with a triple-folding phone,your information is absolutely WRONG. Samsung already announced this technology over a year ago. Huawei still needs to work on improving the overall quality of their phones PERIOD
