Huawei confirms MatePad Pro 13.2 for December 12 event

Sagar, 07 December 2023

A few days ago, Huawei announced it's hosting an event in Dubai on December 12 for an "Innovate Product Launch" without mentioning what products it's launching. The teaser it shared suggested one of the products would be a tablet, and today, we learned that tablet is the MatePad Pro 13.2, currently exclusive to China.

Huawei posted a video on X confirming the December 12 global launch of the MatePad Pro 13.2. The post doesn't explicitly mention the tablet but includes #HUAWEIMatePadPro, while the video shows a tablet with a notch and the same wallpaper we've seen in the MatePad Pro 13.2's official images.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is powered by the Kirin 9000S SoC, runs HarmonyOS 4, and has up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage onboard. It's built around a 13.2" 144Hz OLED display of 2,880x1,920-pixel resolution and packs a 10,100 mAh battery with 88W wired charging.

huge screen with ugly notch. yes. (facepalm)

It probably will be turned into an issue. If you go read some history textbooks, you'll come to find that America LOVES sticking it's nose in other people's business, weather it be other countries or its own citizens.
