Someone else knows why my nova 3 is a bit slow and everytime i see the ram available, its so low? I only have 4-5 apps open, YouTube vanced, brave, messenger bla bla but sometimes i see the ram available is 800 MB and even sometimes 500 or less, and the phone feels very slow while multitasking :(, having to reset every 2 days or sometimes after a day, need a quick reboot to work "fine" again. Im using the version with 4gb ram & 128 gb storage

The reason why i'm still using this phone. Still using the original battery. Fast charging and still can get through the day (have to charge it daily but it is normal). Playing games will consume the battery a lot. Overall i am still satisfied with the phone. Maybe still can be used for another year.

Even older models like the Huawei P10 should get Harmony OS 2.0.

Harmony OS 2.0: Huawei has not yet announced any update dates for Europe.
For the European or German market, Huawei was unable to provide any information when asked when the update could start. Furthermore, it is also unclear whether a return to the original Android version would be possible after switching to the new OS version. It is clear that Huawei's Harmony OS has to do without any Google apps, services and the Play Store. As alternatives, the manufacturer has its own solutions such as its own services and the app gallery.
Huawei has greatly expanded its ecosystem and range of apps in recent months.
As soon as Huawei announces further details on the rollout for the German market.

Does anyone know why the ram fills up very fast and starts to slow down the phone too much? I have few apps and they are quite light (no social networking apps or anything.)

I'm still using this phone in 2021.
Pros:
-Still fast, no freezing nor crashing
-Camera is still good for taking photos and videos
-Lots of storage (a plus with the expandable memory)
-Headphone jack
-Still has Google services
Cons:
-Battery life degrades after a few years (normal)
-Non-stereo/dual-firing speaker (you can use bluetooth speaker for better sound quality)
-Not as fast as most phones in 2019 and 2020, but still good and usable
-No android 10 update
-No 60Hz or higher refresh rate (still ok)
-Notch is wide (but can be hidden in the display settings)
It is still a very functional phone in 2021, unless you want to upgrade or have the money to upgrade.

I still got this phone which was purchased new in Bahrain in 2018.
It's a great phone, no need to buy a new phone in 2021 as it has sufficient memory and speed. Camera is good and more than adequate for snaps and selfies. Battery charges quickly and life is great - easily lasts a whole day. I replaced the battery once after 2 years cause it bloated. It's thin and elegant! You can hide the notch which I did on day 1 and even forgot about it. And it has Google.
Overall, I'd buy this phone again so if you're looking for a cheap older phone buy the Nova 3 - note not the 3i or other variants... Just the NOVA 3.

Please be informed that, EMUI 10/ Android 10 Update has not been scheduled for this phone model.
Kindly note that, the updates are released according to the device's Hardware and Software components as well the device released region.
We are in the process of testing for india released devices that possibly to get the new updates. Currently we do not have any information of upcoming updates for this phone model.

Users will be happier if this old phone gets EMUI 10 upgrades.
