I feel like I made a mistake on purchasing this phone.
Yes, the phone is fast and camera works fine and price was good BUT you cannot get rid of huawei spyware OS (can't unlock the bootloader and flash something else).
Then the update stops after few years...
Anyways, I didn't use it for a long time after I became aware of the issues mentioned above.

I have this phone for 4 years, I'm very happy with it but recently I have been thinking of switching to Galaxy A15. Do you recommend the switch or just to stick with my Nova 5T?
Nova 5T is a great phone, the beast in mid-range category of phone and after 4 years it is still working great, battery has gotten a little bit weaker but camera and overall performance is on point.

Bought it on Oct 2019. The phone is still doing great..I didnt notice much differences between this phone and the latest smartphone. Still much love it! The only thing that made me want to upgrade is the storage.

Best phone ever maid! I have it from 2019 december and still using. All apps using great except viber. Camera is great. I have battery issue now but still working well for 1 day.

I've had this phone from jan 2020 and until today it's still super smooth like brand new and can handle lots of newer games in mid setting. I only use "balanced mode" and the performance is that fast! Tried buying pixel phone recently but after a month I switched back to this phone as it feels way better in terms of everything even camera quality balance. Truly the best phone I've ever had. Thanks Huawei!

I have been using this phone since 2020. One of the best smartphone I ever use. Still gives me best performance. Battery life , speed and everything still just perfect. Durability is also best. It's really sad what happened to Huawei. Without Google services ,it's challenging. I love this phone. Thanks Huawei !

Took a chance and bought this phone in early 2020 and paid it off in early 2022. Until now I've always bought a new phone because the old one has felt old and not up to par. But. Still using the Huawei Nova 5T because it doesn't feel old. It doesn't feel less powerful than the newer phones at this price range. I would happily keep this one for years to come if I could.
And still I have to ask... is there any newer phone at a similar price range anyone would actually recommend? My Nova 5T's battery has been draining so quickly lately and it's only really useable if I'm at home. I don't want to get a new phone and be disappointed because it'll feel worse or spend the double (which I might end up doing).
