Boiwq, 15 Oct 2020For anyone who has this phone, hows the battery life going?The battery is incredible!! Even though it's not as big as comparing to other phones right now, the EMUI skin takes care of the apps in the background, enlarging it way more than expected.

i'm using this phone quite recklessly (charging while playing game, leave it to charge overnight, emptying the battery until its dead) and accubattery still give me around 88% which good enough for me. other than that i didn't notice any issues on the battery
the performance though, is very underwhelming. huawei "cheat" on the benchmark by making 2 modes (performance and standard). the one you usually see on review is performance mode, with that they can at least stand in the same ground with their competitors. but the one you usually use is the standard which is on par with SD720. i use my friend's realme 6 to mimic my usage (YouTube and Chrome on split screen) and nova 5t freeze way more often. you technically can unfreeze it by pressing home button and reopen chrome (which take less than a second) but still annoying and disappointing nevertheless. it also use to lag in a lot of games but it's mostly fixed now
that's said, this phone is not bad on its own but it's nothing special either, at least for me who rarely play any game

Just got scammed into buying a new 5T from a local retailer for $250 when it was in fact a refurbished 5T. The liar won't refund me saying there's no ground to replace the phone.

i got the 8gb one in blue battery could be bigger and no audio jack are my issues but i paid 140 usd so i can deal for now

I bought mine on a sale from their website for $227.93, and it was superb wasn't really expecting so much from the phone. The sale ended so I decided to visit a physical store and I was told only selected stores still have this phone since this was phased out earlier this year due to the new series they released. Such a same. The phone was still available though through their official website for regular price (SRP).

Boiwq, 15 Oct 2020For anyone who has this phone, hows the battery life going?Pretty nice, heavy gaming is about 4-6 hours ( with low brigthenss and battery saving mode) plus it gets fully charged in about 1 hour.
For daily use with battery saving mode it last the whole day, in part because while the screen is inactive the battery draining is about 0%, but anyways also have aggressive battery saving mode ( emui ) so it stands up for emergencies
