2 months ago I bought this phone, had no idea. Only reason was had no more money. WFT, Nova 5T really smooth. Maybe Huawei made a mistake selling this phone for low budget. For gamers like me this is the phone.

Arry, 28 Sep 2020How strong is this Huawei nova 5t screen? Does this scre... moreAbout the screen glass on the Huawei Nova 5T/Honor 20 (which is practically the same phone). I purchased a Honor 20 for my wife. Even with a glass screen protector and a pretty good TPU case, when she dropped it in our driveway, the screen shattered. The phone itself is very good, so I replaced her Honor 20 with a Nova 5T. I have also put a glass screen protector on it, and upgraded to a Spigen case. She has dropped this phone too, and I know the screen protector is cracked, and I'm almost afraid to remove it to see if the screen is cracked as well. So .... The glass screen is NOT very strong, and definitely NOT Gorilla glass. It's really hard to find a good case that will protect the screen from drop damage. So.... The performance of the phone is good... But the strength of the glass screen is NOT. Hope this helps anyone who's thinking about purchasing.

I have emui10 pre installed when i bought mine laat week and i installed all the recent updates. Battery life is pretty good. Drains 4% in 10 hrs when I'm not using it. Drains Pretty quick though in performance mode when gaming similar to my samsung note8. 40% down to 25% after 3.5hrs of continuous browsing/Facebook.

Should I upgrade to EMUI 10 or 10.1? Currently in 9.1 but I read that battery life is not good in 10? Is it true? I like to have a dark theme but don't want to sacrifice battery performance.
