This device is a quack as you can't view whatsapp status on it.
You can go back to home page with a single button.
Doesn't support all Google applications and therefore you can't successfully use your Google backup datas

I get now why people compare this device with poco X3
So this thing basically adds small upgrades and additions, minus speed and camera quality, right?
So difficult to choose a device nowadays, but if we can dig through well, we may actually dig up a real good value
I would skip this device and poco, btw

arsalankk, 19 Dec 2020Nova 7i or Poco x3 NFC? Poco x3 does look better on paper b... moreEMUI is more stable and polished than MIUI.
But MIUI has more useful features and some of the apps like calculator, file browser and note app are slightly more useful than the ones that come with EMUI; however, it comes with ads so you will need to turn them off manually
Both are good

As for that person who said trash about the phone you are not educated at all about technology. Maybe you should go collect your fees from your school.

Soloft88, 20 Dec 2020My honest review:
Battery life - Fantastic. Very good st... moreThanks man I seriously appreciate the time and effort you put in your review.
The phone sounds great, I can live with ok camera which does fine in low light conditions too and can also compromise on video recording don't use that much. What got me upset was the thing about display. I would be pissed off at sluggish touch response. And also weak wifi connections would also be trouble for me as I already am struggling with weak wifi and bluetooth on my current phone. Hearing about Kirin 810 sounds delightful. That chip doesn't seem less than high end when compared with 1-2 years old sd 800 series (like sd 845 in pocophone f1)
What surprised me is that on the other hand I have the option of Poco x3 NFC. That phone has everything I need and looks lit in every aspect. It would have literally been a flagship if it had sd 800 series in it and had a glass back! But like you, I also prefer plastic back for the reason that it doesn't break like glass, scratches I can prevent with a skin or a case. It comes in aluminum frame and that is exactly what I want! plastic back and aluminum or ss frame. Now as for the chipset, I really think that a smartphone in this age doesn't need all that extra processing power the companies are loading into it, I mean the heaviest of task nowadays a smartphone can do in daily usage is PUBG at high fps and graphics. All midrange phones can do that easily and poco x3 does great in benchmarks too and I am satisfied with it!
The only thing stopping me from getting poco x3 is it's ugly design and big camera bump and my dislikness of MIUI and xiaomi brand as a whole. But, the poco x3 is soo great that something seems fishy for the price it was released at. I can only get proper long term reviews of it if I wait a couple of months more. Some say that maybe xiaomi compensated for the price by embedding UI ads in MIUI.
Well I could go for other options if it wasn't for my needs of flagship like features in a mid ranger price range lol.

arsalankk, 19 Dec 2020Nova 7i or Poco x3 NFC? Poco x3 does look better on paper b... moreMy honest review:
Battery life - Fantastic. Very good standby time. Decent browsing/streaming times, and good gaming battery life.
Charging speed - Fantastic. Very rapid charge, and the ability to reverse charge if you ever need to use that feature.
Display - Awful. Very high contrast, almost piercing. Nice vivid colours and decent brightness, but very sharp and uncomfortable for viewing/surfing/reading. The blue light filter is pathetic. Makes no difference.
Slow sluggish touch response - The typing, and general screen touch response rate seems very slow and sluggish. This can become annoying after a while.
Camera - Decent camera/pictures. Not amazing. Ok for the price.
Video - Awful. No OIS or EIS on any of the camera modes so all footage is realistically unusable.
Kirin 810 - I love it. Very very well optimized with the UI. Have never experienced any slowdown or lags, and it seems to run games well. It's an amazing mid range chip. I'm getting antutu scores of 320,000. This is excellent for a chip that is now over 18 months old. Wipes the floor with the mid range Snapdragon chips. Even the 765g, which still sometimes stutters and jitters on certain handsets/UI's. The 810 was way ahead of it's time when it was released. Not sure how it'll hold up to next years new range of chips though. But it definitely surpasses the mediatek Dimensity 800, the SD 730G, 720G, 732G and in my opinion, the 750g (mi 10t lite) and 765g (realme x50 5g) - (maybe not as powerful on paper or the GPU department according to what is written, but when using it, the Kirin 810 just feels more smoother and refined) - this may be due to optimization, but regardless, the user experience is better.
Sound - Ok loudspeaker. Nothing to really note about it. Headphone jack audio volume is ok. Bluetooth audio volume is decent. Again, nothing special and nothing that sets it apart.
Handling - I personally love the size and feel. It's all plastic. Feels cheap, but it's light, feels good in the hand and I'm not really worried about scratching or chipping it etc. I think I prefer lightweight plastic!!
WiFi - Slightly slow wifi download speeds. Connections are not always stable unless very close to router. This can become annoying.
4G/LTE - Great. Decent connection speeds. No concerns noted.
UI/EMUI - Over the years, I have got to accept EMUI and I have got used to it. No complaints. A lot of huawei apps etc and huawei bloatware but no major concerns, as its all very well optimized with the kirin 810. No UI ads or anything like that.
No google - Not bothered. I download all the apps I need via APK. You might have some issues with apps that rely on google play services such as banking apps, but there are always workarounds (like through the browser etc).
Gaming - No issues apart from the sluggish response rate. I have downloaded some seriously high graphic intense games and I have not once experienced lag. Not even on genshen impact. This is why I love the 810. It's the optimization I think. I just wish the screen felt more responsive and rapid to the touch.
For the current price - As a mid range, it is very cheap yet poweful with a few compromises.
Other handsets definitely have better tech now, better screens and cameras, high refresh displays and better touch response - it's all about preference really and requirements. For good battery life and decent performance, you can't currently go wrong.
I hope that this review has helped ;)

Nova 7i or Poco x3 NFC? Poco x3 does look better on paper but in benchmarks Nova 7i is doing a lot better than poco x3. I also hate poco x3's design and how big and heavy it is. Also I am more willing to trust huawei than xiaomi. google play services isn't an issue for me I know my way around that. What I want to know is camera quality specially low in low light and actual bugs/ issues in both phones. Also is EMUI better than MIUI? Can anybody weigh in?

My problem with this handset:
-Sluggish screen touch response rate
-Slow wifi speeds
-No EIS for videos
-Poor screen quality - Yes it's vibrant and vivid, but very high contrast causing eye fatigue/strain.
The blue light filter is practically useless. It makes no difference and has zero effectiveness. Forced to download a 3rd party one - but it ruins the experience as it's just an overlay.
Huawei seem to not care about peoples eye health anymore.
