1. Use Phone Clone to transfer data from old phone. However, some apps may be not functioning. Then move to other options.

2. Use Huawei's own App Gallery to find apps including some local apps.

3. Use Petal Search. Download it from App Gallery. Now u can also update ur apps.

4. Add shortcut to homescreen.

5. If u still prefer Playstore, u can install GMS urself. There r many tutorial videos on Youtube.

6. There r substitutes for some google apps e.g. Huawei mail app for Gmail, Huawei Cloud for Google Drive.

              It's like Apple doesn't need Google Play store since they have Apple appstore.
              Huawei has Huawei App Gallery and if you can't find the apps you need there, you just need to go to APKPURE and everything is there. (FB, Instagram, Messenger, Snapchat etc... and PUBG, ML or COD for games)
              Do not believe those people saying not to buy Huawei devices because of Google apps.
              I think those people are just not well informed or maybe they don't like Huawei.

                      fadii, 03 Jul 2020I m confused b/w nova 7i and redmi note 9s what should I bu... moreHuawei has made Here WeGo available. It works pretty well for me in Europe. Check if it's available in your region.
                      The Redmi Note 9s has an excellent large battery en par in performance with that of the Nova 7i if not even better (which is outstanding). The Nova 7i clearly has a better chipset.
                      My only concern with the Redmi Note 9s is its IPS LCD. Huawei has been using IPS LCD on most of its budget/midrange phones and I could easily say they are nothing short of excellent. Vibrant colors and bright enough. Mind you I've switched from Samsung with its brilliant OLED. I'm not sure how the Redmi Note 9s' IPS LCD would be. Although the review tests show respectable performance.
                      I won't comment on the camera coz I haven't used the Redmi and I usually use my P40 for photography.

                            I m confused b/w nova 7i and redmi note 9s what should I buy only reason in huawei is no gms which is no bigger problem for me just stuck in map as google map is one of best location finder is huawei have such mobile i m huawei user since 4 years now just confusing the two things one map second market worth after no gms can huawei survive or lost it market as nokia.

But the heating issue on Realme 6 i don't think thats a big issue though just do your research and choose one because i think huawei nova 7i and realme 6 both are very good smartphones. And i think its a hard choice anyway if your looking for huawei just look at all apps you want and just see weather it will work without GMS. Most of the apps works but there are some apps that need google mobile services(gms) for example youtube you need gms so you have to watch on YouTube mobile website and google chatting and video call apps like google duo that all need GMS though there is a workaround.

Im having a hard time choosing betwee... moreFirst of all, there's no such thing as "fast battery degradation with mediatek", the Realme 6 seems to be the safest choice for you. The main advantage you get from the nova 7i is performance, and I'm not just talking about the soc, the software is smooth and well optimised too, something that became a rarity at this price. On the long term, from my experience, huawei phones (good ones) tend to age just fine, but I can't judge the Realme as I've never tried any of their devices.
