Another new old phone from Huawei, with an 2019 year hardware like: IPS LCD, a Snapdragon 662 CPU (11nm ?!?!? in 2021), no 4K, no gyro-EIS, only 4G, no NFC, without Google package and for which Huawei requires about 350 euro.
In the same money there are alternatives such as Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G with: AMOLED, HDR10 +, 90Hz, Snapdragon 780G (5 nm), 4K@30fps, gyro-EIS, dust and splash protection, 24-bit/192kHz audio and access to the Google package.

The 8gig version is actually smooth and fast. If you superfast downloads etc then activate your developer options by tapping on the the build number multiple times. Then go to carrier aggregation and activate it. What it does is takes two or more lte signals at the same time giving you gigabit speeds same like 5G.... Fun fact, "5G" actually does the same thing, research it.

Still Android 10 in 2021?? The cheaper oppo a54, nokia g10 and the Samsung galaxy a03s are already being shipped with android 11 out of the box. I have a Huawei y9 prime, this maybe my last Huawei device because it's the last Huawei which was shipped with google mobile services

Therockfordfiles, 20 Oct 2021I thought 5000 mah was the standard for 2021However I still appreciate the fact that Huawei, Samsung , Motorola, vivo, oppo, Nokia, Redmi ,Tecno give some decent full hd IPS panel. IPS lcd technology is considered as a dinosaur in the tech world but surely the most reliable screen technology ever. I could watch an IPS lcd panel for hours without having eye strain. I'm not a gamer and I don't watch full length movies on mobile, so Amoled isn't a necessity for me

I dont really like the Selfie camera part. If i compare the selfie camera of my Oppo F11, that way better compare to Nova 8i. Screen size is an advantage. I just dont like the selfie camera. I am not sooo happy with this phone.

just got this phone as free from my carrier network. Got no issues with it. display is smooth and i like the overall feel on my hand. screen is also nice to the touch and the camera is surprisingly good. photos were also crisp and clear. tried playing mobile legends and the graphics is good but there are some minor lag spikes(maybe because the app is still downloading resources?). overall i'll give it 8/10 because no google play, although that can be very much the same like how apple made their appstore. - Nova 8i 8gb variant

I was looking for a review coz I am not satisfied with this phone, The system is so slow. When playing mobile games like ML and COD the Screen went lag like its overloaded with shit. Don't buy look for better one.

Not same like others huawei mobile and also not same like other mobile brand. I have huawei nova 7se not good bcause there's none google playstore and we said 5G but not 5G its not true 5G. Just only 4G. So thats why i used my other mobile. I stay using huawei mate 10 bcause there's have a Google playstore.
