Huawei outs another Mate 9 teaser, focuses on battery

Xiaomi caused a lot of excitement with the Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix announcements, but Huawei is yet to make its next move. Of course, we are talking about the Huawei Mate 9, which will be unveiled on November 3.

Taking that into consideration, it should come as no surprise that the Chinese OEM is currently at the top on its teaser game. Today brings another bit of early info. According to the short video, the Mate 9 will come with exceptional battery life.

All the hints also seem to point toward some new and better fast charging technology. Perhaps Smart Power 5.0? As for other specs, it appears the Mate 9 will come in the two previously mentioned main varieties. The top-tier Pro is said to feature a 5.9-inch, curved QHD display.

In contrast, the regular flat one will likely be stuck with a FullHD panel. Other alleged specs include a Kirin 960 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, plus 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage. Another suggested feature is a dual-camera setup, providing some form of 4X optical zoom.
