Not to defend Samsung but all of the devices you mentionned are bigger some even much bigger. Base S series phones are meant to be smaller and light hence the "small" battery. Instead what we should ask ourselves is where are the camera u...

I am using Sony xz2 compact so far and considering options of upgrading phone now. But hell, it seems no real upgrade in Samsung basic s model even compared to s23, just a new CPU and a bit better display that is still so behind of what Chinese brand...
