Either the Samsung and huawei are not a bad choise.

Samsung J5 2017 -> bad screen & camera
Samsung a3 -> nice phone but the software will slow down (samsung is known for that)
p10 lite = ok but no gorilla glass

I bought a new P10 lite and ran Basemark X is was 8533 points
Maybe because nothing is currently running in the background. So, I would say that maybe GsmArena numbers are what you would get normally.
