There are better for value phone these days as a50 and realme 3 pro.
But when this phone came out it was the best hardware to offer.
When I got this phone I thought it was the best.
The midrange and budget phones can hold for a year or two even some can hold up to 3 years but they are no flagship so I suggest going for another phone.

Huawei is going to beat iPhone in furture. I am using p9 light for last two years and it is dureable and fast. I am going to upgrade to p20 light soon after managing Budget.

I am using p20 lite and S8.
S8 is a great phone but I prefer p20 lite as well and it's my primary phone at the moment.
S8 edge screen and the tall aspect is a bit of a problem for me.
At first I hated emui. But slowly I got used to it and it's one hand usability is seamless. Now I love emui and prefer it.
I am so worried regarding the Huawei ban because I wa s planning to buy a Huawei device in the future.

And with US sanctions, Huawei the company is going out of business sooner or later. You may end up with no parts, no support one day.

I have experienced none of the problems highlighted in any of the previous comments with my P20 lite. I have an S8 and S8+, which are great phones, you can't argue that they aren't. I myself prefer my P20 lite and can't wait for the pie update. I love the look of it, it has never under performed in any way, the camera is fantastic, I did see a comment that it's awful at night time but in the day it's great...I have no problems with either. It's not a patch on the P20 pro, I can't fault that phone but overall, the P20 lite was a bargain.
