Good
Light weight, easy to hold and has the elegance of the other P20 higher-end devices.
Screen is clear with good colours at 2280x1080 and screen-body ratio is high (the notch is usefully place to use the remaining room for the status bar to give overall more user screen space).
Features that I did not expect on a “lite” version include the dual camera lens, ambient Light Sensor and Face recognition (which I have found to be very responsive, it automatically checks for a face when you pick-up/tilt the phone).
The finger print scanner on the back is also very responsive and is actually situated in a logical position on the back (just make sure you enter more than just your index fingers into its database, as I found I use my middle finger more then expected).
Also great news (well for me anyway) is the inclusion of a 3.5” Headphone Jack and FM radio.
Android 8.0, but with Huawei EMUI 8.0 skin (not bad actually, a welcome improvement on previous versions of EMUI – previous versions have always been a negative for me)
Bad
Speaker – not the best sound I heard from a phone speaker, but it is loud.
Camera Lens sticking out – which did cause irritation when it was in my shirt pocket, but I have since got a thin cover for it.
No dust/water protection – but I did not expect it on the cheapest member of the P20 family.
Overall
A mid-range phone, not the fastest, but runs apps and games effortlessly and with some of the higher-end premium features I mentioned, I like this phone.

yong, 11 Jun 2018why in some other web review/specs they say it has a glass ... moreI guess you were referring to Huawei P20 Pro specs. Which its Front/back glass & aluminum frame and also IP67 certified - dust/water resistant compared to this Lite.

I was about to buy P20 lite yesterday but just found out that the package does not include screen protector. There were no available screen protector. Only tempered glass. I do not want to install tempered glass as it makes the screen unclear and it makes the phone ugly. I hope huawei could release new stock with screen protector included in the purchase so I can proceed to buy p20 lite.

In my country in Europe P20 lite is 389 euros for 64 GB and 16 MP front camera...but i just bought in Thailand 290 euros for 128 GB and 24 MP front camera...very good deal.
