There's a high pitched noise, heard with wired headphones, it's actually giving me a headache so I use bluetooth headphones now, which is a shame of my p15s . Also the dragonfly red isn't compatible with Android due to a default audio level setting problem. Did anyone else notice this high pitch amplifier whine?

Can the phone disable the brand watermark on the taken images? Looks like the images are shot from 'a cheap Chinese' phone when I look on a image samples (don't have any racist intentions honestly).

Hahaha, 25 Aug 2018P20 pro cam has no zoom when you take pics with 40 mp. It's... moreThere is not such a thing as real zooming on smartphones. Since there is no zoom lens, what you actually see is a cropped image of the original photo. This is why you lose quality when you zoom with your phone. So instead of complaining just download an app as Snapseed or similar and crop any photo to your needs. It will be exactly the same as zooming.

I just took delivery of a Mate 10 Pro - brilliant phone, everything you'd want, and quality camera apps. A day later I discovered that for a small price increase I could have had P20 Pro and I had a moment of wanting to exchange the Mate 10. This was entirely about the camera setup. I am a bit of a serious photographer and moving up to a 40mp setup from a 20mp one seemed completely logical. Then I thought a bit more about my existing cameras.
Nexus 5. This took a lot of flak in reviews over its 8mp setup but I've taken some quite good pictures with it. Unfairly criticised at the time if you ask me.
LG G2. Pretty damn good on all fronts as far as its camera goes, at 1060p. I took some quality landscape photos with it and it's picture editing suite or similar would have improved the G4 a lot.
LG G4. Replaced by my Mate 10 Pro, its 2160p 16mp camera was definitely above average but its software became too basic for my needs. I also began noticing a lot of noise when transposing photos from colour to b/w.
Basically I've been thinking that a 24mp or similar triple cam setup on the P20 Pro might've made a bit more sense and proved less confusing for phone buyers who don't want to upgrade too often. My Olympus DSLR dates from 2006, has 10.5mp and still does everything I want it to. My Mate 10 Pro is going to last longer than my G4 did and size, I decided, isn't everything when it comes to phone cameras.

dreamincolour_xo, 27 Sep 2018HELP? :) I am an apple person through and through. I had a... moreI sold every make and different providers for 20 years. I would never buy an apple. Nor a Motorola newer than the old bricks. I was there when Samsung were dipping their toes in the market. They were strong, but had to be, coming up against Nokia, which (referring ONLY to the original Finnish company), have still never been surpassed for solid dependability. To get to the point: it seems many companies develop a good reputation and then they ride on it for years before the general public starts to notice that the manufacturer has quite trying. I just bought a Huawei. Liking it. They're moving up and coming forward. There's a good reason the big providers are all supplying them. Before they get ridiculously expensive, at least you won't have to worry about having laid out a bunch of cash for trash.
