Best phone out there that has a really decent quality camera and is affordable for the tech on board.
It's also good to see Huawei trying something different, which is more than can be said for Apple and Samsung. I don't like the notch on this, but at least you can turn it off.

    No FM radio? Why? Really, why? Not that the radio is sooo important, but, really, why no radio? What's the problem? No free space on the motherboard? Come on, it is "pro" phone! And still, no radio ... :-)

      My old phone caught me checking out the P20 Pro on it, got jealous and froze on me!

        This phone is one of final reasons for me to consider smaller phone and another OS.
        I liked the phone, and despite what everyone says about camera - camera looks... artificial to me. Images aren't looking real.
        Built quality is another HUGE downside. Despite the phone being ugly - home button like on S7 with notch of iPhoneX, and third camera being lower while top ones protrude (I mean really Huawei?) - it is not even durable.
        Phone was working as fluid as it can in those 7 days I had it.
        It took a single drop from chest height for it to break. Both front and back panels. Despite having a case...

        I sold that rubble for 300€ to a guy who can fix it himself and bought iPhone SE (which is as much as you can get for 300€) and I'm happy with it.

          yeah! price is so high that it's illogical to buy when there are many flagship phones.100$ is much.so turn to 1+6.and what abt Samsung, it serves us by cutting our pocket by unfair means pricing, do does apple.

                Also pretty lame how that 40mp is there without any zoom capability.

                  Few days ago i got GPU Turbo update for my P29 pro, Though im not a gamer but i feel my phone became blazing fast then before, I love my internet browsing experience specially
                  Also my screen on time increased from 6 hours to 7 hours... Its GPU Turbo update is just awesome

No doubt p20pro is also a game changer but it lacks basic thing)(no headphone jack, no SD card slot, no gorilla glass protection).
                    S9 plus has all ingredients of a perfect smartphone with all basic and advance stuff only downside is it's battery life I think.

                      Please can you update the ring output you state. This phone is nowhere near 91 db. !! Very misleading for someone who wants a phone with good volume on it.

                        P20 pro cam has no zoom when you take pics with 40 mp. It's stupid.

                            I'm going to get a new phone 2 days from now so I need opinions. Should I go for P20 pro or Samsung Note 9(overprice I know). I'm currently a Note 2 user which mean either one of this phone is going to be a huge upgrade for me. There's a pro and cons on both of them (Of course). Can anyone tell me about the durability of p20 cause I keep hearing about the p20 pro being too fragile and cracks/bend easily and it worries me. I drop my note 2 countless times on the pavement on the glass side and nothing happens. and yes the p20 got glass back. I'm ready to jump ship to huawei but its durability is a concern. And the selfie camera sucks (overexposed everything) but my god the rear camera is a Beast. How's the battery? Is it as good on paper? So I need help/opinions. Please

                              there is no such thing as the best phone in the world. Today consumers are spolit for choice. Granted the P20 Pro has the best camera for now. Until another company brings something better bigger which will always. So the best phone in the world is the one thats right for your situation.

                                  His camera isn't bad, but it cannot compare with triple camera that Huawei P20 Pro have. Its just trash compare with his night shots and low light performances.

                                      If you don't care that much about camera, go for OnePlus 6. Its at least THREE TIMES faster than P20 Pro. I am not saying that OP6 camera is bad, but its not just good as P20 Pro.

                                      I personally had both phones, right now in my pocket is P20 Pro, because I need perfect camera for my job. But in terms of speed, multi-tasking OP eats Huawei for breakfast.

                                      Also battery life goes into P20 Pro favor, if someone cares about SOT. On OnePlus maximum that I got was 7 hours. On P20 Pro maximum that I got was 12 hours, which was insane.

                                        Unfortunately it imitates a lot to iPhone X related to its screen, however, camera and the WHOLE phone works so much better than iPhone X.
