Had the phone only a few days now, but so far so good.
back of case feels grippy in hand and unlikely to slip/fall.
However, the flip side of this is its always covered in fingerprints and needing cleaned.
Box comes with USBC cable/plug also USBC/3.5mm adapted the best surprise was the usbc headphones in the box, super.
UK buyers also get to claim back free wireless headphones , so will see if they arrive once claimed.
Overall a good start from Huawei after the disaster that was a Moto-Z only lasted 11 months before dying, with awful support from Motorola, still trying to get my refund paid, 13 weeks after sending them my phone.

Learn how to open up the phone and change it. I have changed it on several phones now, my current phone is 3 years old, battery performance is still the same. Maybe it does not overcharge and hence such long lasting.

I don't understand what does people want if you want everything then go with Samsung because S9 plus is only device that ticks every every box like literally every box
But i can see such silly comments that I can't stop my self to answer them once and for all
Thing is this phone is just perfect people are saying no expansion and headphone jack dedicated one , since how many time you had used your phone while charging it and listening to music and if you are so much I to music that can't stop your self for just 15 mins then you must be an audiophile and I don't think so you don't have Bluetooth head gears
Secondly just name a single OEM that provides so generous headphones that you don't need proper high end head gears, like seriously I don't understand what's wrong with you all who are complaining it's 2018 now things are going towards minimalist edge, just see the screen to body ratios and other stuff
About notch so apple used it from essential phone and provided us with face id which they claim is more secure than touch id which I don't want to argue with cause they better know their tech but purpose of face id is to unlock phone and authorise access for payments etc and in this phone you have way fast face unlocking and for security measures you already have tried and tested always active touch id, and no one complained it before about apples touch Id even.though it was also a bit stretch to use.
As far as wireless charging is concerned so you get 17% charge with 30 mins charge on iPhone and 20 25% with Samsung and this thing charges to 58% within half hour which is good and bad at the same time but practically it's better option because the massive battery will serve you better and you won't need to charge it within the day and if you want to charge it then means either you don't leave your mobile for a second away using it or you.missed to charge it at first
Now getting to cameras like again seriously people don't know any thing about cameras and start complaining again in day light nowadays every single flagship will do the job of any OEM it's the night photography where mobiles cameras struggle and they solved it for you yes front facing camera is on softer side and no AIS on 4k is a kind of bummer but still who records stuff normally in 4k it's a gimmick that's all even S9+ limits you to 10 mins max and it needs a hell of space in storage and it's really hard to share as well and 1080p is enough and really it's enough with 60 FPS, when did you saw any movie online in 4k like it doesn't need to suck itself every time
What's else i am missing
The main focus of the phone is Display which is good Camera which is excellent Battery which is again excellent charging time is among top two i.e Huawei super charge and Oppo Dash charging is fastest in the market storage is decent 128gb is enough storage, platform is Android so you can mess with it in every way, performance wise I can assure you it will last longer than any android mobile except Pixel because I am using mate nine since October 2016 and it is still standing strong, then there is high DAC audio for audiophile who prefer wireless head gears plenty of pixels in cameras and the features and option the camera provide is mile ahead than the competition
Design is also good if not the best speakers are great build quality is simple awesome
Now it provides plenty of features in hard ware and software that other lacks
IR blaster, bigger battery, Fast charging, 3X optical zoom, 40mp main camera which can be used in daylight for pixel peeping, monochrome camera for artistic looks, PC mode, machine learning algorithms, Neural Processing CPU, Audio DAC for wireless, Dual SIM support,128gb bass storage, Stereo Hybrid speakers, fastest Face unlock, front finger print scanner, customisable notch, customisable navigation buttons, organic display and list goes on and I can argue every single comment here who are bashing this piece of ART
Kudos to Huawei for bringing this game changer and those who does not know any thing about technology please go away reviews are expert opinions by experts for above average users rest average consumer just see his pocket and buy among two brands that's Samsung and iPhone but this time P20 pro is here and showing a massive middle FINGER to other OEMS that how one can bring balance between software and hardware without breaking a sweat.

Also, price a ripoff. Should cost about £250!
I will stick with my LG V20 removable battery phone for £150 thank you!

What are you talking about? 6.1" vs a 5.8" ? Its obvious size will be different. Should have mentioned that when you mention physiques. Of course S9+ with 6.2" should be logically bigger too.
But when you compare body ratio and dimension vs screen size and weight ... that's the difference.
iPhone X has the worst body vs screen size ratio amongst these 3 models mentioned.

No card slot, no 3.5mm jack, notch display... Come on Huawei, stop blindly follow what apple did. In the end, it clearly shows u r just a follower. If u wanna "force" users to use Bluetooth headset, at least have the qi charging on board. P10+ was a good phone... Perhaps the last good phone...

Will, 12 Apr 2018thats why there is cloud, you dont need all these sdcards ... moreCloud you kidding me, I have 2 gig of data a month and I live where there bad 4g etc and that goes for a lot of people so cloud is pointless, need a 3.5 jack so you can listen and charge phone up at the same time and sd card slot just in case phone buggers up and you can just whip out all data saved on your sd card, put all your photo videos and music in the cloud yep that's safe!
