I still have this phone and never ever think to change it... Working like a champ

    Using it for 4 years. The waterproof is no joke. I once shoot video under water at the river and once at the waterpark. But the phone still work like a beast. I'm sad that Huawei no longer having Google Playstore. I would happily buy the next P generation if they still have Playstore.

      After update c432e8r1p3 system navigation not working properly. Can not switch between windows, and can't go to mine screen, when pushing main button down.

        This phone has been great. Had it nearly 4 years. Installed loads of apps that I need. Never let me down. Still going strong and I use it a lot.

          This phone is so trash I hate it because its so bad at everything and when I see it it just immediately makes me disgusted. I don't even want to wake up anymore because of this phone it's just that bad!

My wife's P20 Pro (bought in May 2018) was updated to Harmony OS late last year, and all Google Apps were all restricted. Most of the existing apps also can no longer be updated. She has a Chinese version though so I am not sure that's the reason.

                          Using p20 pro since 2018. Over 3 years and i haven't had issues. Only now is the battery life slightly shorter (still get through my days) and the phone getting a bit slower. Will start keeping an eye out for a better one eventually but no rush yet.

                                  On 13.11.2021 get update 10.0.0.193 (c432e8r1p3). So some udates yet to come, not as some here write, that this model is completely forgotten.

                                      I've been using P20 Pro since 2018 May. The daily usage experience is nice. Battery life is acceptable. The camera quality is still catching up with Nov-2021 midrange phone. Build quality is solid. However, CPU is not that powerful enough to operate the latest app. So, I've to switch on performance mode to smooth daily use. Huawei's official firmware update is so slow.
