Hi. Have questions re the various gestures and navigations available on EMUI 9.0 & 9.1.
The one thing I hate about EMUI is the presence of the three-way nav buttons on the bottom of the screen and having the apps drawer icon in the homescreen.
Is there a way (or a feature in the settings) that would allow gestures and navigations similar to iOS or Pixel devices doing away the nav buttons and the apps drawer icon and having no apps in all the homescreens?

Now with the ban somehow lifted (although this trade war is still in limbo, and we don't know exactly what stuffs are banned from entering a Huawei phone and what stuffs are allowed), it's safe to buy a Huawei phone.
I'm quite disappointed with the lift tho, it shows how weak the data mining accusations were made, and most importantly it cancels any opportunity for a Huawei flash sale/discount. LOL

I've been thinking of buying this phone but then this whole google ban came and didn't read much into it. So I was just wondering what does it mean? Does it mean that the phone won't be getting any new android updates?

IT has 6 Gb of RAM not 8Gb. At least in Canada it doesn't have 8Gb.

this piece of device is better than samsung note 9. more fluid UI, good speaker, excellent camera.
