I've been using this phone for over 3 years. Bought it last September 2019. still working fine. The only issue is no more OS update which forces me to get a new phone for my work. Will I sell this as soon as I get my new phone? Nope! this wil still be my main phone until it gives up on me. I really love this phone to bits...The camera and sound quality is way better than some of the latest phones released.

The only phone that I'll keep using till it no longer is functional!!! Superb specs that can still perform very good today with its well optimized/designed midrange Kirin 980 soc!!!
Have amazing DAC with 3.5mm jack & sdcard slot(NM).

The Second best phone I have ever use.
The best one was Mate 10.
I still use Mate 10 as a backup phone if they can get Android 13 it would be perfect.

Had mine since 2019. It's a survivor, still going strong in 2023. No noticeable degradation of the battery. Buttons haven't broke. No crashes. No fuss. Browses the net perfectly fine. I don't care about games, or cameras or sound...
A workhorse no frills phone for a no frills guy.

Had mine since 2019, only issue that I have encountered would be after extensive usage, and at low battery, the phone starts to lag. However, a full charge can last a minimum of 8 hrs.

This is still an excellent phone hardware wise. Huawei EMUI is very lean and slick performance wise. Too bad the ban happened, and it is stuck with Android 10.

This phone has about 2 years minimum left in it.
Huawei offers a $10* battery replacement service incl. battery!
I can pick up one for $150* on gumtree or other places.
You can also use it as a 4k Webcam,etc...
The leica lens is excellent
