This phone’s still worth buying and will keep up for at least the next 3 or 4 years regardless of the fact that Google has partly suspended the continuation of some of its services on Huawei devices. It will receive security updates and services live Play Store/ Play Protect will be still operating, however, It will not receive any further major Android updates (Android 10).

But those who buy HUAWEI / HONOR phones after 19 August will not have security patch update and no Play Store, YouTube, Chrome and other Google apps in the phone.

According to current status, HUAWEI is 99% dead now since it loss both Android and ARM (software and hardware).
