I know lots of you compare this with s10 and say s10 is better but Samsung gets an advantage. The P30 is basically a mate 20 but with a better camera, that's all. Same chipset as mate 20 but bad display. So P30 uses technology that is 1 generation back. However the s10 uses brand new technology. That means s10 is better but Huawei fights back by dropping prices. The smartphone world is like this, flagships that are released later than other flagships are generally better.

If camera is important to you get P30 pro. If screen is more important get mate 20 Pro. If I were you I would get mate 20 Pro, since I think it's better overall, and it's camera is good enough. Both phones have similar price but I think mate 20 Pro is cheaper since it's one generation back. So it's basically your choice.

Who uses loud speaker when watching YouTube?
99% will use wired headset to hear detailed sounds instead of using the loud speaker. Come on! Don't disturb your neighbor with your phone's loud speaker, they are not interested.

50x zoom is real thanks huawei for putting this kind of technology to smartphone.
Best battery life for highend smartphone....

The P series is all about the new camera features. Theres no point switching from the mate 20 pro to p30 pro. Just wait for the mate 30. The mate 20 pro has all the p20 pro camera features + the high specs of a flagship (quad hd etc etc).

P30 pro better in battery life and much better camera for 5x optical zoom 10 x hybrid and the best night sight thanks to the new RYYB sensor. 8gb ram as standard. Camera is better than mate 20 pro, Huawei only improve with time not go backwards so people saying mate 20 is better are lying to you it's not.

Do you think P30 Pro is better than Mate 20 Pro?
I compared thier specificarions here despite the better screen on Mate 20 Pro and better selfie camera on P30 Pro, all other characteristics are the same.
What do you think? Which one is better?

This Device has a better screen than the Samsung S10 series and you can see for yourself- check out the unbox therapy review of P30 Pro. Lew actually switched from Samsung S10 Pro to Huawei P30 Pro just because of the display.

[deleted post]Their phone costs a lot because their phones are good, pls have some logic, if you can't afford their phones doesn't mean their phones are bad. Try a midrange phone like the Nova 3 or Y9 if you can't get flagship.

Phone Reviewer, 12 Apr 2019Evil Samsung they keep all their good screens to themselves... moreP30 Pro does not use Samsung screens at all cause Samsung does not sell to anyone their curved screens. Only regular P30 uses Samsung screens while the Pro is BOE.
Therefore regular P30 should have higher nit brightness and look bit better than the Pro while also draining more battery. BOE screens are dimmer and are the best for battery life!!

I hope Huawei will use their own screen sometimes soon so screen quality can get better. Nonetheless, Huawei phones are the best deals on the market, excellent specs in a phone that doesn't cost 2000 dollars
