I still own P30 pro as my daily driver. I can't think anything that make me change a new phone. I might stay with P30 pro for few more years. Love this phone.

I expect no less than 3 years of HarmonyOS updates if it's updated anually.

I am not sure I understand what I read in this forum.
I buy/use in S.E. Asia, it will be my first upgrade in 4 years (now have Samsung 5 Neo), and I like it too last for few years.
I got advised this Pro30 because of good camera to make simple exercise instruction video's. But it has no minijack entrance, is that correct?
Sorry many questions before buying .. want to make a good choice :-) thank you for taking time to reply :-)

I bought the phone early 2020, it used to have amazing battery, but after emui 11 update, it is draining too fast, now I need to recharge in the middle of the day.
What a loss, now I am thinking seriously to return back to Samsung.

Due to the legacy of the P30 Pro, it will certainly get as many features as possible, such as chip optimizing for better performance, battery improvements due to iOS-like battery optimization. The phone will get better drastically, but it will also retain GMS certification, which will keep the phone appealing for us Westerners who are neck-deep in Google.
