Rgmeister, 15 Dec 2020I left my p30 Pro in a room with my missus and her friend. ... moreThere have been multiple reports of applications interfering with the android operating system software resulting in this type of thing. Usually when giving an application certain permissions ie, allowing to record, take photos access media library etc, some of these permissions can malfunction resulting in, audio recording whilst not recording, camera taking pictures with images not storing, failure with one or multiple applications that requires Internet connectivity. In short, none of these systems are infallible but you can take action to remedy most issues. Uninstall then re install the offending App and do a forced restart(hold down power slide for 10 seconds) this should remedy the issue. As for the lady trouble, wine and chocolates may be the way to go.

I left my p30 Pro in a room with my missus and her friend. I had left the house. Upon my return my missus showed me my phone which in stand by mode stated "recording". Naturally she assumed I was spying on her but when I unlocked the phone no audio had been recorded and the only app running was pnp santa which had made a video. I cannot fathom why the screen said recording and subsequently, why no audio recording could be found. Any ideas guys???

Waldorf Statler, 03 Dec 2020I notice that you are more than just a disinterested lover ... moreI used to be a Samsung fan before I bought this phone & this is my first Huawei phone ever, the reason I like this phone is cause I really love its battery life which used to be a disappointment in Samsung phones as the models I get in my region are Exynos. As far as the updates are concerned I'm not sure about the next major update but I just received the November security patch.

So I downloaded footej camera app. It performs better than the stock camera app, but with only 10x zooming capabilities. I just hope Huawei sends another update to correct it soon.

now i ... moreP30 pro for camera versatility and quality, amoled display, faster charging, slimmer body, under display fps, ir sensor.
10t pro for higher refresh rate display, stereo speakers, bigger battery but considerably heavier and thicker.
From my experience im using the p30 pro as my daily driver for almost a year, so far zero problems, the cpu can handle whatever i trow at it, camera is superb, and the 40w fast charging is awesome.
The only downside is a slight burn in on the status icons but im using it on max brightness constantly, and lack of stereo speakers, but if a phone is not your main device for media consumption that the single speaker its good enough. If you have any specific questions about apps and stuf i can try them and give you a feadback. Cheers.
