This phone is the best I've used in years, battery back up is really insane on this compared to my older phones including the S10+ & the camera is really superb. All in all it's a complete smartphone in all aspects.

Got Android 10 yesterday for my P30 Pro and it includes a camera stabilisation update. Now I don't get a prompt to hold the camera steady even at 10x zoom, and taking photos is also faster.

I don't care so much about difference in cameras.

You need to use the phone phone first before coming to conclusion, things are very much different on papers & in practicality. I've used the S10+ & the P30 Pro is equally as good as any Samsung amoled displays, you can hardly notice any difference.

The quest of having a complete smartphone for me is over after buying the P30 pro. I don't even think I'm missing out on something like people complain about the headphone jack but the USB type headphones are pretty good, no SD card slot but the massive 256GB is more than enough, my previous phones were with 64GB & I still had lot of free space space on them. Really really happy to buy this phone & no regrets selling my S10+ for this.

I have been a hauwei fan for about 10 years now I used most flagship devices and am currently using the p30 pro i upgraded to mate 30 pro some few days ago and switched back to p30 pro main reason because of camera

I traded my S10+ for P30 pro & no regrets whatsoever. This phone is really amazing, it beats the S10+ in terms of battery my S10+ used to go down to 99% the moment you unplug it after getting fully charged while the P30 pro doesn't give up even after hours of getting unplugged. Second the P30 pro automatically takes beautiful portrait shots while holding the phone in portrait mode it automatically detects it which is a great feature. P30 pro is much more fluid after the Android 10 update, this is a serious flagship phone which can give the latest flagships a run for their money!!

Got my P30 Pro last week and of course I've done a check on its camera functions. Results are - 5x zoom is effective at up to 120 metres, 10x is effective at around half that. By effective I mean the distance at which I can get a usable photo. Still early days though. It is a significant upgrade on my Mate 10 Pro in those terms although I'm appreciating my older phone a bit more now, as aside from some extra juice they are very similar in terms of software. Also I suspect that my Mate 10 Pro has slightly better music playback quality, so I'm keeping it to run my Creative Metallix Plus speakers with (get a pair they are awesome for the price).
