Watch out Huawei users, Google breaks up with Huawei.
Google blocks it from Android apps and services.

AimeDuSable, 20 May 2019So... Huawei Smartphones are dead now?Not just Huawei Smartphones, practically all their tech products will have certain number of U.S. based components and software.

So it is not hard to believe that the Huawei company itself may cease to exist or at best won't be recognizable in a few months time.

So... Huawei Smartphones are dead now?

          Babye Android Updates.

No monthly security patch update : Never mind, I never download and update since the original software version out of the box do not have problems.

No new Android version update : Never mind, reason is same with above. If I want the phone with the latest Android version, I will buy a new one.

No Play Store : Never mind, HUAWEI got its own HUAWEI AppGallery.

No Facebook and WhatsApp : Never mind, I don't use those because they are not secure and always go down. I use WeChat only.

No Gmail : Never mind, there is a app called Email. I can use any email like Hotmail on it.

With the ban, new phones will most likely come no google play store now. It's now the time for Huawei to let their users unlock the bootloader of their phone in order to install custom roms since that's the only way now for the user to update their phone and also install the needed google apps.

Gregor, 19 May 2019Also a word of warning - better avoid buying Huawei product... moreDo you really think that it is gonna happen?
If this is true that means that everyone owning a Huawei phone right now will not get any update anymore on his phone...do you seriously think this can happen?

According to me it is just a communication strategy from the US in the commercial war with China...

Huawei is gonna find something in the law that can make them comtinue to get the services from Google at least for time of processing that can obviously take years....

With US sanctions against it, Huawei won't be around much longer - means no parts, no support in the future, maybe only 3 months since that's how much parts they have stockpiled currently as reported by the news.

To be honest, this phone is not for everyone.
People who are too stuck to iPhone, pls carry on with Apple so u can be milked off your hard earned (or not) money.
As for others like Samsung fans, well....17~19hrs per day usage for 2 years is max for any of the 'flagship'. Even with faster charging, the battery won't last or cannot be guaranteed to explode. Note X haven't released but exploded during test run already.

Anyway advantages of this particular P30 pro is not the 50x zoom as many thinks to be.
Yes, its pics taken are not 100% to many liking....because the strength is focused on structures or earth-toned pictures.
Extremely durable battery and Night mode is its actual strength....to the point where it can be used for a full night photography yet left a good 30~38% for other stuffs.
Gaming wise, i did a full day Pokemon Go and it din even sap 75% of the battery; Compared to my Samsung S9+ and iPhone X, the other 2 crap phones gave up when it hits the 10th Gym raiding.
Graphic wise, its not bad and smooth so far, nor do I have cybernetic eyes to see flash-rate of 240Hz. Next will be doing full day gaming on PubG when i have the time.

But there is one big disadvantage on this phone; its built-in software are not surprisingly of not much of use except HiVision and can be easily replaced by better ones as well as the built in keyboard. Screen size wise, it tends towards a lil longish for those born with only 1 hand but not that longish to u can use it to smack people's face well like my S9+.

Of course, drop test I have yet done any but if u do want to get a phone that is virtually indestructable. Go iPhone XS but be careful cos u get tracked ANYWHERE even if u had turned off the location or even the phone.
                                  Cheers!

Been using for a month since release and no problem with it.
Other than slight heating during supercharging and using it (not to the point where it can scald u or as hot as Samsung/iPhone)....its perfectly fine.
