We from Europe get updates so late. China models has two updates in advance of us in Europe . We are still on 124 and China got 153 version which brings some awesome options. We need to wait weeks to come to us. For this reason I will not buy Huawei phones anymore. We from Europe are second class citizens for Huawei company.

Expectations for mate 30 pro:
I wish they made kirin 990 instead of using kirin 985 but whatever. Kirin 985 better be faster than A13 and snapdragon.
Mate 30 Pro should have a really good screen to kill Samsung, and by really good screen I mean higher than 1440p. Must be at least 600 pixels per inch. And for me I'd want at least 6.5 inch screen.
If they wanna make screen size larger phone should have 4500 mah battery.
And finally my last hope...

My is th... moreRegarding the accuracy of the battery indicator, I believe it is accurate because P30 Pro has a 4,200mAh battery.
My HUAWEI Y9 (2019) has a 4,000mAh battery. After my phone has charged to 100%, the indicator still show 100% within the first 25 minutes of some internet surfing.

Here is my honest review
I brought this phone
My is the Aurora 512GB Model. I wish that I had got the crystal color one.
It comes with a see though case but is very poor quality and I suggest get a different one. This is a pricey phone so get is just common sense to get a better case.
I am pretty impress with the phone so far.
The screen is very vibrant and is curve which is similar to samsung phone.
I don't find the slight lower resolution as big deal but the icon and text it is bigger than other phone in this size.
The battery charging is very quick and come with the stock fast wall charger which can charge this phone from dead 0% to 100% about 58 minutes in my experience. but 0-50% only take around 19 minutes. However the battery indicator isn't accurate since it still show 100% when been use for like 10 minute. Battery does last all day with very heavy usage however it won't last till next day without overnight charge despite some blogger claim it can last up to 2 days moderate usage but that must not involve any serious work or use the camera.
The camera is mostly great as what most media claim, the best part is the camera is very versatile in most shooting situation. the 50x zoom is pretty hype but isn't very usable, The image is hard to see and hard to focus and most like a shot off tool, I am kinda disappoint at the 5 optical and the 10X hyper zoom in any low light or indoor shot, it just comes way too soft and heavy noise. I wish it has 2x or 3x zoom fast zoom swich, the 5x is way too far in most situation. I wish they add option for lower zoom range. I do think just like most camera lens, to get the best image you had to mid zoom and mid f stop. This camera at 1x isn't at the best image quality. I suggest go for 2 to 2.5x this is when the image at is sharpest. However at low light this won't be matter. The portrait mode can be hard to tell whether was working until you take the image. What impress me the most is the low light model, it can always work and really able to shoot total darkness but will had extreme heavy noise but aleast it has some thing unlike iphone x it just total blank image. The auto night mode is aleady at its best setting, i try the up to 32 second shuttle speed at the night mode and isn't much better and sometime worst.
The selfie camera image is sharp when is outdoor and good lighting however at indoor is just average and the image can be quite soft. The selfie portrait is quite good and perhaps better than iphone x.
Overall I do like the phone but no where this is 10/10 or 9/10. I give more like 8/10 due to some short fall especially at the hype 50x or 5x zoom which isn't as useful or good as I hoped.

This is not unethical, it's just to make people able to see the moon. It can come in useful at times when you want a picture of the moon and you are too lazy to look it up online.
