Didi, 29 Dec 2020Which one should I buy huawei p30 or p40 lite. I do not car... morethere is really nothing great about the camera. Please rather get a Samsung. Pics are blurry and you need to spend a good couple minutes before you find the correct angle for light.
On the whole - a useless frustrating phone to use.

What is the an Android phone with no GOOGLE on it? Install a store app that doesn't have even 80% of Android apps available on Google play?? And your only alternative is to run essential Google apps via browser? Hell no!

If you wanna buy this phone... Go for it! It's a wonderful device crafted from the very finest materials for your pleasure. The camera is a light defying beast whose magnificence is only matched by the ease of use. The screen, though not amoled, feels like a portal into a long lost world of bliss. The network and connectivity of the device boast of remarkable download speeds and simply unbelievable upload speeds. The UX feels like it was handcrafted by UI gods for mankind to relish in. Truly... This whole phone is a bleeding edge tech at a price point that simply isn't fair on the manufacturer!
Utterly brilliant take on the modern smartphone by Huawei... The p40 lite doesn't feel lite at all, besides the times when it's floating effortlessly above the A31, A51, A71 and other comparable devices.
It's only a fair stretch to consider for a moment that Huawei have achieved something monumental with this device - this could very well be the turn of a new page for tech, heralded only by a fitting lineup such as this gem of a phone.

It's absolutely killing me that nothing works on Google. It may have a good camera, but it really makes no difference if I can't install the apps I need!

Which one should I buy huawei p30 or p40 lite. I do not care about Google services, the main and selfie camera quality are the most important things. I heard that selfies on p30 sometimes are blurry. Are there blurry on p40 lite too?

i need an advi... moreyes, definitely, you can add your gmail email accounts as IMAP, normally. 100% no problem.
the problem is with installing and running some google tools, like youtube, google keep,... as an "application" (if you install them, they don't work). but easily you can use them in browser.

I bought 64GB version a few days a go, and I am very pleased, it is very fast with excellent battery. The unavailability of google service is not a big deal, even for me as a computer engineer. I used Huawei store, and I almost could find anything I want. For exceptions, like whatsup, I could find installable file everywhere on internet, and manually install it. I don't live in Iran, but as far as I know, GooglePlay already is not available in Iran, and they have invented a counter part of it "cafebazaar.ir". You can use it too (like GooglePlay , it also provide you updating, when new version is available).
For some services like google map, there are many better options, like Yandex map. I found it a good opportunity to try disconnect my dependency to google. I even replaced "Google Keep" noting tool, with "Huawei notes", Google contacts with Huawei contacts.
very good! anyway future belongs to those Chinese and it is time to get ready!
