I wonder why they couldn't include EIS on any of the video recording modes.
This is a shame. Cheaper handsets include this (oppo a9 2020 etc).
This would have made it a perfect mid ranger. I hate it when they omit something as important as this just because of the category of the handset (mid ranger) etc.
It doesn't even cost much to implement.
I have heard from reading the comments below that there is no Gyro sensor?

RoMaLa, 20 Mar 2020I mean the phone is amazing, even without google or the 4k ... moreyea and its not like its the end of the world. The new system with AppGallery and MoreApps from wich u can download google aps are not bad at all. Im currently using P40 Lite and everything works fine. Messenger,Watsapp, Viber and even maps are working perfectly fine without crashing.

mobileman, 17 Mar 2020ya, for lite version ok phone,but i cant use google,goggle ... moreU can use most of the other apps. Youtube app u cant download, but u can download youtube vanced wich most of the people use rather than classic youtube app. Other apps such as viber messenger watssupp u can download with 3rd party app called ApkPure or transfer via phone clone. Im using P40 lite and everything works out just fine, the updates, no crashing etc. I tought its gonna be a lot worse than this but its just fine.

DimeBuha, 29 Mar 2020Can you download YouTube and other Google apps?U have youtube vanced. I see everybody using that app instead of the real youtube app. And u can download it without any problems. Im using P40 Lite and its all fine and good. Other apps such as messenger, watsapp, viber u can transfer via phone clone and u dont even have to install it on your new phone again.

A fantastic mobile phone that delivers a lot in all areas. It offers everything we want at a very high level with an extremely reasonable price. Also it has a beautiful design that comes with a great set of colors.

These apps won't work properly on phones without GMS properly installed, no matter what alternatives exist. Some apps can't be replaced.

Per this article the US ban only covers Google’s core Mobile Services. This includes Google Play and YouTube, as well as Google’s cloud services like Drive and Docs. Google apps that are not part of GMS core, such as Google Maps and Google Chrome, work perfectly fine on Huawei devices.

P40 lite is an excellent mid range phone, it has everything we are used to expect from Huawei, fantastic camera, endurable battery, great memory and mesmerizing design. To me this phone looks amazing and once again Huawei has managed to present a phone that comes with great specs and reasonable price.
