Rumor reveals Huawei P40 lineup's European pricing and availability

Sagar, 12 March 2020

The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will be unveiled on March 26 through an online event, and two weeks ahead of the launch, a Greek publication claims to have obtained information about their pricing.

According to the unnamed internal sources the vanilla P40 with 128GB storage will be priced at €849 ($955), while the Pro variant with 256GB storage will cost €1,139 ($1,280).

A separate report coming out of China claims that the P40 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost €999 ($1,120), and for €100 ($110) more you will get double storage.

If that's not enough, there will be a 256GB storage version as well, with 8GB RAM, which will set you back by €1,249 ($1,405).

The entire P40 lineup will hit Greece in April alongside the recently announced Mate Xs foldable phone. This would also suggest that the rest of Europe and maybe most markets outside China can expect to see them next month.

These pricing and availability haven't been officially confirmed by Huawei obviously - the company will only talk about that on the official event on March 26.

I think a lot of people will actually buy it. I'm from Denmark and I will buy it if the cameras turn out to be extremely good, like better than iPhone, Samsung and Oppo. If not better then I'll get the Oppo Find X2:) I couldn't care less about G...

Yeah I don't know what they are thinking. I think they have no problems because their main markets is China and everyone will buy their phones there so they probably don't care not really need the money from western markets.
