- 8MP 80mm
- 8MP 240mm
An... more100% of users will try out the zoom/telephoto in the first 10 minutes of owning the phone, also it will be the last time 100% of the users did use the zoom/telephoto;
and then until they buy a new phone, they will keep on using the 50MP camera, so arguing about some other cameras on this phone is literally pointless

Problem with this phone.
- 8MP 80mm
- 8MP 240mm
Anything between will rely on digital zoom, and results will be awful.
240mm was very unnecessary.
But they know it will boost dxomark score.

no it's not, without 'equivalent' it's the normal focal length, there is no review out there about phones that does not mention ''equivalent' or similar term, bcoz the phone has normal focal length, which as i explained is the distance from lens to sensor.
and since im lazy i will recycle part of your comment

Major differences between P40Pro+ and P40Pro:
- An additional dedicated telephoto camera with a focal length of 80mm, with a much brighter lens, f2.4, much better than that of the zoom. This is a high quality telephoto camera dedicated to portrait photography.
- World's first smartphone periscope x10 optical zoom with continuously variable focal length from 23mm to 240mm.
- A special feel-good ceramic back with engraved micro-structures, created using an expensive and exclusive process borrowed from high-end jewelry making processes.
- Different memory and storage options; etc.
- Only limited number of units will be made.

All perfect.
But design not good at all . Beside who play games like pubg or free fire. The position of camera is boring. Huawei maybe you should next time do something different. You are better than that

And camera is excellent, the s10 plus zoom is crap and camera is always blurry. Thank you. You have just made up my mind.
