it also has almost 4K screen, means screen on time will be extremely bad, as more pixels = need more power
the only thing Sony can do is speakers, that phone will have nice sound, and that is all;
so for good battery life + nice pics you stay with Huawei
for good sound = Sony

sony xperia 1 II, will kill this one except on zoom but this phone has long range but less pixels so its unusable.

16gb vs 8gb ... moreS20 Ultra has 12GB RAM, where only handful of ppl will ever make use of that much, i barely see my phone using 4GB in total
8K video :D lol, it goes at ...what was it 15fps or 20fps? needless to mention, the phone itself can not playback its own videos at half resolution = fail?
how many ppl have 8K TVs or monitors? social media allow 4K at best;
display? i think Samsung is the manufacturer of Huwei screens or not?
since both phones can't playback their own video at even 4K then i see no big difference

It,s the same thing as p40 pro. They only added ceramic back & frame. DOWNSIDE: a massive weight. 226 grs.omg.hands will be in pain.

It's an awesome gadget, am real Huawei fan and I won't mind it even without Google apps but the p40 pro+, the price tag and its weight I'll stick to the p30 pro.

My 1st Huawei hand phone was P9, 2nd was mate 10, screen big enough for me, but only 4GB RAM, later, l go for P 20 Pro, good enough, but screen a little bit small for me. I was thinking to change a new one, mate 30 pro but not suit my test because of curve screen, so, waiting for P40 pro or P40 pro +. But very disappointed me is, why the flagship phone are mostly having curve screen, even Samsung, Oppo also having the same pattern, does it look elegant, fashionable or glamour? Again, at this moment, flagship phone is going to 12GB RAM and 5000 mah battery capacity , P40 pro+ only come with 8GB RAM and 4200 mah. I think this is a failure for Huawei, sorry! I am going for Xiaomi black shark 3 pro this time.
