As long Google Services are not there then Huawei will keep on releasing these good smartphones but without making money with them. I think you Huawei guys should talk with Google and resolve all your differences and work together for the goodness of your clients

There are some amazing rumors about the P50 Pro+. If this is going to be true, we may see continuous optical zoom(from 10x- to 20x), a first on a smartphone!

The biggest issues I had was youtu.be and a game called galaxy of heroes which uses Google play games to store the data. The solution was to use vanced for YouTube and Facebook to log in to the game

Those services (Google Keep, AdSense and Analytics) I use via web. Everything else either have better substitute like YouTube Vanced or works without a problem like Gboard, Chrome or Maps.

Huawei phones with HMS do work without problems in the basic tasks for which the smartphone was designed: voice, text, internet browsing, e-mail, photo / video.
The problem discussed here is a fundamental one: Many applications in AppGallery have been cthrown there on the "to be there" principle and do not work properly without Google certifications.
I do own a Huawei from the Mate + GMS series and a Huawei from the P40 + HMS series, therefore I think I am quite qualified for an opinion with subject and predicate.
Notes: - I read the other day that Google will give up the APK format at the expense of the AAB format. This means that the new AAB applications will no longer be able to run on Huawei phones with HMS because they will have another digital signature.

Reading all the comments I'd say most of the people can't accept the fact that users of Huawei are not mentioning GMS anymore but praising Huawei phones and the way they work now, satisfaction despite missing GMS. Harmony OS has prooved itself quite good in Chine as they say and write, despite we can't speak about Harmony as a some new OS, that would be lying to ourselves. But considering circumstances it's important that it's working and that make Huawei phones work. Currently I am user of Xperia 5 mark II but can't say I am not impatient to see already P50 series finally being released and see how is i working working, camera, display, speakers, OS in general, aplications OS in general, etc.

I don't think so the p50 will come in android anymore since GMS still unofficial and hmos is already released on some old device re-released for China market if not mistaken.
