I've recieved oreo 21/07 and it doesn't work good :( When I try to unlock my smartphone I see black screen (about 0.5 sec) and then it unlock. So sad because it was so fast in nougat (Ukraine)

Cool, 30 May 2018I think Indian variants of honor 8 lite has 4/64 of Ron and ramChinese version has 64GB Storage 4GB RAM but no Google Services / Play Store

So hi! I got the Android 8.0 update yesterday, and so far it's kinda good!
My device is Huawei GR3 2017, model PRA-LA1, Build Number PRA-LA1 8.0.0.361(C185), i'm from Lebanon and i didn't have that high hopes to recieve the update but i did, so have faith and courage, don't give up!
The software can be buggy or laggy sometimes, but it's pretty gppd and stable in my opinion! Make sure to back up your photos with Google Photos or Drive and backup your personal data just in case though to not lose your data, it didn't happen to me though
The update is 2.49 gbs i think so be sure to free up some storage before updating.
After updating Lords Mobile and another app were installed without me doing anything, but you can uninstall them, also an app called Tips is added!
The update brings all the Oreo features i think, and this yime the Oreo easter egg aka the oreo octopus is playable and working and accessible!
Picture In Picture, or PIP, is working, but it does not work woth Youtube, even if accessed with Chrome, i think it can only work with Youtube Red and in the USA i think. It works though if you play videos on vimeo aka on sites other then Youtube, just go full screen and press the home button after playing the video and it should appear at the bottom off the screen, you can even open another app or even two apps in split-screen plus the PIP vid! (ex: watching a vid on Lifehacker.com, then going full-screen, pressing the home button, then opening g-mail, the going split-screen and opening settings, all the while the vid is still playing in the bottom!!!!
Otherwise The new navigation dock is also good, and there's an option to hid the navigation bar in the bottom for more space, you can make it reappear by seiping up from the big bottom bezel chin from the huawei logo to the screen, pr even navigate with just the new navigation dock with no navigation bar for increased screen space at all times! Althought it might get some used to along with your typing cz the keyboard will be lower, but i think you can readjust the keyboard's high in the settings!
