Tried so many phones my courier and their delivery company probably got sick of me already... Had iPhone 5s (iOS limitations denied me) had Samsung Galaxy J5, P8 Lite 2015, Nokia 3, Cell C (Local courier phone) and maybe 1 or 2 more, can't remember now... All lagged when on apps like Facebook, Instagram etc, poor battery life, lack design (except for the iPhone 5s. Okay, iPhone 5s has poor battery life, but if it wasn't for the iOS restrictions for me I would have kept it, I'm not going to lie). And just the general interaction with the other phones wasn't nice (for me).
Finally I got the Huawei... P8 Lite 2017, been using it since yesterday and so far it's just amazing and for it's price range. No lag, strong battery, beautiful design, looks like quality nice in the hand. Apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and etc works like it should... Haven't experienced heating issues yet as read in reviews, doubt it will in future.
I'm not sure what quality the screen protector it came out of the box is, but it looks fine, few smudges as on any other phone. Depending on how you handle it. Can't expect premium results as it's a budget phone... It comes damn close through.

I have the old version p8lite ALE-LE21 it becomes very hang and about no charge at a normal speed.it have 2 or 3 hours have to full charge the phone and outta becomes dead as faster than it charging.so any one don't buy the phone it is a waste in my experience

I have an older version of the P8 LITE - 2015 since when it first came out. No problems like any of any other phones I have ever had. It still works perfectly fine. I am upgrading soon and wanted to know anyone who has purchased the P8 lite what are the differences between the first one launched compared to this one (2017). I am looking at the PERFORMANCE, the memory, charging, speed, photo quality of the phone and not so much the fancy features.. I know it isnt one of the top favourites, but which one could it be matched to (of the top 10 for 2017).

This is one of the smallest portable functional smartphone ever. The functionalities are straight forward one does not need to be a rocket scientist to operate it.

It's always best to check this kind of information yourself, as those specifications can vary event on the official website.
