My Huawei P8lite didn't receive OTA Marshmallow update too, but I updated manually by suing HiSuite in PC. And in fact, it was successfully updated. Let's say, if my method was not succesfull, I would still OK in Lollipop 5.0.1.

I had both, and i prefer P8 Lite, only for the camera, is way better, but for other purpose, they 're basically the same, so if you dont mind the camera, you should buy the cheapest of the two phones

16gb + 2GB ram
J5:
8GB/16GB (depends of the model, but always is the version with 8GB) + 1.5GB RAM
and the camera is pretty good (for a casual pic)

Bought the phone, Im realy not happy with the camera, white shadow, a lot of noise and red eyes when photo's taken with flash, In the dark the flash is of no good.

I bought my p8 lte 2 days ago in south africa and the phone is just wonderful. But the battery cant sustain six hours of 4G use. Can I change the battery
