The only problem is that i need to download a smart remote app and apparently the phone doesn't have a built in IR Blaster .... how do i get around this problem without paying the earth. Or could you suggest an app that supports HuaweiP9

AnonD-635211, 19 Jan 2017I'm between S7 and P9, what is the better option?Well Huawei is very much humble with its P9 unlike Samsung which is very agressive in ads, but user experience in a device is important..I have P9 myself, battery is Good it can last a day or two, the EMUI has better functions, and with excellent camera.

HAWAEI P9: I truly did my homework on this phone before buying it as I was after a decent camera phone. Well I only had it less than two months when problems started. The camera itself is inferior to my previous Samsung S5. Quality if pics much duller and not as defined quality wise. BUT I started noticing that the headset icon kept coming on and the only way I cold listen to my phone calls or watch a video was to plug a headset in. That cleared up, but then it stayed on half charge for two days and wouldn't charge up let alone stay turned on even when plugged in. Took it back in immaculate condition, much to the shops shock. Believe me they looked or it with a fine toothed comb. They sent it in for a check up only to be told it was not worth repairing as it had massive water damage. I have not been near water! It sat in my back pocket at work so I could use the pedometer on it. I did notice that when I went to use the fingerprint ID it had slight moisture on it and had to be wiped before it would acknowledge my finger print. Absolutely overrated product.
