I have branded Sennheiser IEMs and they were awesome with my m8, and good with my note 4. P9 is just no match for HTC sound quality. sure the quality is ok, but u will not feel this difference untill u have heard htc 10.

Pressing and holding that button increases its volume(while holding the button is so much irritating).
You should buy a new headphone.

This phone is God. Comes right after iphone 6 and s7 in benchmarks and beats mi5, z5, htc 10 in every comparison. Daily use is smooth and no problems in 2 weeks of use.

Buy the Huawei P9 Eva View Cover, its such a beauty, got mine today and i must say the phone looks amazing with the cover, so elegant and the texture is so classy

kirin 955 has ssimilar powerful cpu as 820. only its gpu Mali880 is weaker.
but. it doesn't mean you can better gaming experience. the reason is that 820 consume much more electricity and thus more much heating in larger games, so the frequency quickly drop down from high frames to low frames of 3d games.
so kirin 950/955 has even better average smoothness and much cooler, like only 40 degree after 3hours heavy game.
the better control on the power consumption give kirin 955 better average gaming performance in terms of smoothness and heating.
mate8 is larger so has better gaming

So that would mean either Samsung S7 or LG G5. I prefer the S7 because it has an intergrated cooling system, so you should be able to play heavy games for longer. If you are patient, I would advise you to wait for Note 7. It will have 6GB of ram and Snapdragon 823. That should give you the best possible experience available on the market.
