Why do I find almost nothing about the P9 Lite 2017 version (which looks substantially updated). Is it because it's so new? All I find is the P8 Lite 2017 which has different specs.

Honestly this phone is great, had Samsungs in the past but this phone really surpasses them.
Contract is due up in June or July and I will most likely be going for a P10 lite. These Chinese guys have nailed it as I have seen some Chinese phones and they look cheap but this one looks and feels good quality as well as performing well.

I have been using a Huawei P8 Lite for more than 2 years. After my P8 Lite broke I bought the P9 Lite which I thought was the logical choice for a replacement/upgrade. I am very dissapointed with the P9 Lite because it is excruciatingly slow, unresponsive and unreliable. The Huawei P9 Lite is just slow, slow, slow. I have been using the P9 Lite for more than a month now, it makes me sick to realize I am stuck with this trainwreck of a phone. How can it be that a much older phone like the P9 Lite with weaker hardware, from the same manufacturer, succeeds where the successor with upgraded hardware fails? I once had a 5$ Pixy Glitz Android phone from Tracfone that was more responsive and faster than the P9 Lite! Avoid.
