It used android 6.0. But why it do not support the latest version of instagram Twitter and some other apps? It's because the firmware or what. Can I update it to the latest version of android(6.0.1)? Probably it can solve the problem?

but if you like smaller size, then p9 lite is the choice.

AnonD-531697, 14 Jun 2016The Xiaomi should be faster (better cpu), better at games a... morethe newer version redmi note3 has snapdragon650 as core chip so the benchmark look better. however, you can benefit from that only if you are a crazy 3D gaming runner, as the power consumption is much higher for it. for normal use, the 2 A73 core is silent to save power while only 4 A53 core is running. so performance is just average. and that is why it got a larger battery.
for p9 lite, its core is 8 A53 core kirin650 with 16nm tech, compared to snapdragon650 28nm. so the p9 lite power consumption is much lower while the performance is even better as its 8 core running.
so go for p9 lite if you are not a heavy gamer.
