Anonymous, 04 Jun 2016Huawei p9 lite or honor 5x?the performance and price is quite similar. the main difference is in hardware chipset but that shows no difference in performance.

Here in Finland they just announced that P8 Lite will have 6.0

It is half the price of P9 Lite here, and also it is much older. In that light we can live in hope that P9 Lite will go even beyond 6.0

This may be a stupid question but as I've used WIndows phones for so long, I don't know that much about Androids.

This one comes with Android 6.0. What has usually been Huawei's update policy, especially with these "Lite" versions (not a flagship model)? Should I expect it to be upgradable to the next version when it comes out in october? And what about after that? Is it still going to get updates a year from now, or two years? Or am I going to have a worthless brick I need to get rid of?

                    Thank you.

more than 3h.40'!! for charge 100% battery!!! Back to the shop. What a pity, I had liked the device in my first day of use, nice phone but it's shameful in 2,016 such a long time for charge battery.

undecided, 29 May 2016Hi guys, I need some advice. I have to choose between Sony ... morethat was the same choice I've been struggling with. eventually went for the P9 lite because, apart from the lower MP camera, the P9 lite is the superior phone. And with the M5, the sensor isn't really up to the task of getting the best out of the 21.5MP. I've been out putting the P9 lite camera through its paces and i'm seriously impressed. buy the P9 lite and save your money
