hi guys. just wanna ask. i updated my phone to nougat VNS-L31C636B361, and suddenly my phone manager's optimizer gets stuck at 44%. has anyone experienced this? :(

They are getting a lot of complaints right now by customers who are really frustrated by Huawei's lack of communication. You are correct that the mobiles have the same basic hardware, but it's not the same Firmware and Huawei's main problem is with the reduced RAM (2GB against 3GB of the Dual SIM model) which has been affecting performance. The final Firmware, (if it's released) will have the same designated L21C432B371 as the Betas released in March. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it happens as my P9 Lite is only a few months old!

My thought is that it's quite normal first to go models L31, then after week or two, maybe longer L21. Same how P9 were before P9 lite.
Also, models with single sim and double sim have exactly same hardware and I see no reason why L21 single sim would be excluded. But we never know. I read that people with L21 2gb already updated, not sure if they had single sim or double, but weren't europeans. So let's wait little more before we start with speculations.

speed of the is excellent...no lag...nice design...display is excellent...speaker and sound source is very good...selfie camera is excellent...rear camera is just good.

I called Huawei yesterday and they told me that the OTA release may take weeks. The other news I heard from another source was that the Single SIM 2Gb model might not be updated at all! It's identified by the VNS code L21C432B161. I'm not going to wait too long before I trash the P9 Lite and go for something with a better projected lifetime. It seems that the P9 Lite Single SIM version was manufactured specially for the big providers and Huawei didn't bother with updates as such. With my P9 Lite there has been NO security update since last November which is frankly a disgrace!

I updated my p9lite the day before yesterday wit emui 5 and it all looks ok, i have however 1 major problem. Before the great update, when i made a call to somebody i could see the picture nice and round on my screen but since the update all i see is a blurred full screen photo. I tried everything, delete the contact and create again, deleted the picture and choose an new one, making a printscreen from the photo and than choose the prinscreen in stead of the original picture, .... NOTHING works .
And i want that to work again.
Anybody with the same problem?
