I have the p9 lite over a month ago, thes are my experiences:
The design is good for the price, especially the black color (which is mine). The back is plycarbonated but feels premium.
The display is very good, sharp and bright enough, though the contrast is okay only.
Performance is excellent. Fast and fluid, though chrome is very laggy, especially when im typing. There are delays. The ram management is excellent (3GB variant)
Battery life is decent, but not great. It drains faster than i thought, and if you optimise your phone the apps will stop in the background, so you will only receive notifs. When you open that app which is annoying. I got 6hrs sot with low-mid brightness.
Cameras are good, captures enough detail, but i was surprised in lowlight performance, the photo is still sharp eventhough the lighting condition is quite poor. 1080p videos ofer stabilization, which is quite good, but the videos are quite noisy.
Fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate.
16GB internal is not enough if you install alot of apps. 9.6 GB is free out of 16GB. There are alot of google bloatwares.
Charging not a problem to me, because i charge my phone when it reached 20% and unplugged it when it hits 90%. It is not slow nor fast, but okay
Gaming performnce in this phone is excellent, fluid and no frame drops. I play asphalt xtreme

Huge difference in performance between 2 gb and 3 gb ram version...3 gb version way fluid...only 16 gb rom..no quick charge...super slow charger in box..no official gorilla glass...no otg...no IR...just ok screen...below average camera...I owned samsung galaxy s5 for 2 years and it's better phone in almost every aspect...huawei p9 lite with 3gb ram is a good deal for 200 euros maximum...add 100-150 euros more and buy honor 8..so much better phone.

Cuz P9 already got it, and i know we are gonna get it soon but i want to know how soon :D

This means that the P9 lite has better performance and also at the same time has better bettery life. Both have eight Cortex a53 cores but the P9 lite is clocked higher. Both screens have 1080p resolution.

Initially, my main worry was it going to be able to retrieve all my cloud memory but it did very well. It has a preinstalled application that allows you to retrieve data from Cloud and your SD.

Wow this phone has very high SAR radiation levels. 1.38 head SAR and 1.59 body SAR. That's 6 times higher than Galaxy S7 edge and much higher than most other phones. I wouldn't buy this phone only because of that.

Does anyone know how to get the dual sim to work? I inserted both my sim cards but it only picks up 1
