The honor 8 have a much faster CPU, 4gb ram and 2 lens for the main camera and 1 lens in front. It is almost like the Huawei P9 so you can compare the honor 8 and Huawei P9. As for P9 lite it is a much slower CPU and comes with 1 lens for main camera and 1 lens in front. If you have the budget go for the honor 8 but if budget is your concern then the P9 lite or the honor 7 which has a much better camera than the P9 lite and the specification is still better than the P9 lite.

My p9 lite (2gb) consumes too much ram like I just had a factory reset and installed no apps but the ram on the optimizer shows its around 60 to 65%.I then installed a few apps and my internal memory is almost 8 gb free, have switched off the sync, protected only two apps and restricted the data on most of apps but still the ram is normally touching 69 to 75%. When 1 app is in background it automatically refreshes after few minutes. Not satisfied with the ram and some minor software related issues, perfect phone otherwise. (Using it since august 16)
