I was as afarid as you but I never regret it, it has been with mee since 3 months and I love it! I had some oddy problems with the battery but formated it and got back to work brilliantly , as stuttering issue this is somwthing I cannot help out with, it does it every while in time,not so much and not really annoying and hardly visible

I'm just wondering how long can the phone last, (well how long till it begins to stutter and stuff) I really want this phone but I'm just afraid that i might regret it. >.<

... moreI was exactly in your shoes before buying the P9 Plus, maybe the S7 edge has the best camera and the strongest gpu with the lg as well but I don't trust Samsung devices since they all heat up, for me I don't like sony devices because of their outer shape and design, so P9 Plus was like a compromise to me, super day shots but not best at night, I am not facing any hardware or delays problems,design is superb, battery life is really durable and the fast charging is a wow thing, but a disclaimer at some points it is not the best, but a compromise speculation among all, I love it and never regret buying it!

The day i bought G5, P9 got introduced after a month and i started having double thoughts about G5 and when P9 plus got released, i am selling my G5 to buy this phone. Its amazing too solid and definately its worth the money. If u want to buy it, but it eyes closed its a beauty

Sony XZ is looking good and filling my requirement. But need a final assessments or advise. Currently owing Samsung Note 3.

Hello,
This is the solution i found for the automated dimming of the screen in browsing mode:
Go to Setting --> Advanced settings --> Battery manager --> Power plan --> Activate Performance plan.
In my case after switching to performance power plan the automating dimming in browsing is not a issue anymore.
Normaly i use the brigthness between 50-60%. If you use max brigthness i dont think that a difference will be visible.

P9 Plus does not have the feature to wake up (knock) when the screen is black, or see the time if the screen is on sleep mode. Always we need to pick up and press the power or finger sensor to wake the phone up, really annoying.

Screen will be dimming automatically when I play for high graphic game or do much download or whatever that could make hot to the phone. Seems the CPU will manage it automatically to adjust the screen brightness to save and balance for the power. And yes, I turned off Auto Brightness and use Performance power plan... the problem is still running.
I thknk we might have to wait for next updaye.

P9+ brightness problems.. always dimming it self while browsing.. taking picts.. playing games.. etc etc.. setting auto brightness off.. choose peformance mode... but screen keep change brightness as it have it own mind..
Anyone with same problem?

The pressure sensitive, invisible "back", "home", "multitask" buttons are one of the coolest feature that only p9 plus has. This will render most non p9 plus user (even some p9 plus user) clueless, as they would not know how to use the phone if this feature is turned on. Just a sharing from my experience. =)

Had to return my Note 7 and was looking for a good replacement option. Looking at S7 edge and P9 Plus. But still P9 Plus work on the Verizon Network? Also I'm in the United States and I don't know if I could get P9 Plus fixed if I had a issue. Would love some feedback on this, but it looks like a want be able to break away from Samsung!
