I hope this has success. We need more of this formfactor. I have never been interested in a foldable before but this looks just so cute for some reason. It is small and fat at the same time. I love it !

Damn it, I was thinking about something similar to this. I always thought the almost square foldable phone was useless if you're not the multi-tasker type, so why not have a "regular-shaped" screen for an immersive experience of 1 app at a time? However I think something similar sized to a Blackberry passport and act like an actual passport book shaped

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2025This sounds good, pity it's from Huawei, their devices... moreTrade import and inflation, why they are expensive in the western world, not their fault it's what happens. Bet they are in line/slightly cheaper in the east/home country Vs main brands.
Also remember, Huawei like to try and innovate, unlike Samsung anymore (apple never did they just know how to hype things up) so usually new concepts will cost more.

You are right, this is physically narrower than that Sony phone despite the theoretically wider aspect ratio on paper. I also checked that the 2015 Huawei P8max is also physically wider than this.

With that price I think at most kirin 9010 for a foldable.
