Huawei schedules smartwatch announcement for September 19

Huawei will hold a launch event on September 19 which will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The teasers show two smartwatches which implies this will be the official launch event for the Watch GT 5 series.

Watch GT 5 is expected to launch with TrueSense, a health monitoring system that should provide more accurate health data measurements.

We could also see a successor to the Huawei Watch D with the rumored Watch D2. That wrist wearable is expected to also incorporate Huawei TruSense, alongside blood pressure measurement via its interchangeable inflatable wristband and ECG analysis.

We should be getting more teasers in the days leading up to the event which will detail the features of the upcoming Huawei wearables.
