I love this phone. Slim, good battery life, simple and it works. I downloaded a few games for it too and they're surprisingly good.

Just picked one up and just love it. For the price it's pretty awesome. The buttons are a little on the small side and can get tiring after a while but it's a nice design with compact size.

I really like this phone for basic calling and texting. I don't use it for internet access. My problem is that when the phone powers off (ie flat battery), it doesn't automatically receive texts again after it is charged. Calls go through, but I often get text messages, and they are not received. If I text to myself, the message comes through, with all the other messages. Also I cannot find a way to get an audible reminder that I have a missed call or message waiting. The phone does light up at intervals, but it is silent regardless of the settings, so unless you are watching it, you don't notice. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? The manual is not very helpful. It is branded Virgin mobile (Australia) so I may try calling them.

I picked up this puppy for $29 on the Wind network. Downloaded a couple of mp3 ringtones which rectified the low ringer volume problem. The small font and icon size on the home screen may be a problem for anyone over the age of 40. But the phone seems to be well made, call quality is quite good, camera is decent. For the money, I think it's a steal!

I got one of these on the 2Degrees Network (New Zealand) although its a U1251. Below average average phone.
Good points are its slim, quite light weight, good camera, good ear speaker volume, looks good, 3G, lack of irritating external side buttons rather it has only volume control which is great and good internal memory.
Average points are the battery life, not great but not the worst I have seen and it seems to have the worlds shortest charger cord.
Bad points, small font that is non adjustable, small range of poor ring tones, annoying features like the screen doesn't default back to home screen after texting or calling meaning the key pad doesn't lock.
Worst of all the speaker volume for the ringer is far too quiet and there is no reminder that you have missed a call or text which you can do quite easily unless the screen is activated.
The keys are skinny meaning inadvertant key presses.
The email to handset interface system is next to impossible to set up even though it has an email screen and 2Degrees wouldn't have a clue how to do it either. In fact I haven't managed to do so yet.
Lastly the phone came in a 2Degrees box with a less than helpful manual and although it has FM radio they don't equip it with a head phone set which means you can't access the radio.
Summed up it doesn't do any function all that well.
