this phone is good if you want starter android experience, don't except much juice.

build quality is good.
excellent display, very clear pixels and good resolution. touchscreen is perfectly well and responsive. in side by side comparison, Samsung Galaxy y and Galaxy pop display looks crappy to it.
froyo update brings great performance boost
GPS and Google maps are some great things
3MP snapper shoots very well in daylight.
capable 3G hardware, blazing speed if your carrier supports.
portable wifi hotspot in froyo

600 mhz processor and 185 MB ram.
battery is a real disappointment. charge two times in a day fully for heavy use. 4 hours continuous wifi use or 5~6 hours document reading or 6 hours of 2G internet use will take the battery down to bottom. minimalist use will last for 2 days.
bad video capture. forget taking pictures in low light, no night or low light mood in froyo.
terrible speaker sound.

plz. confirm that will all sms (messages) only be saved in phone or memory card? sms (messages) will directly be saved in external memory with unlimited 0r only limited messages (sms)?

I think smartphone makes people unsmart. Cause it consume so much time. Like i'm using this phone for calling, only 40 min average a day. But i do play games, watch videos, read ebooks, surf internet about 6 hrs atleast every day. So i do not have much time to study anymore. I do understand that it is harmful for my carrier but can't stop using it. So I'm addicted to my smartphone. Can anybody help to cure my addiction please :(

My GP Crystal is updated to Froyo 2.2.2 but i can't run with Wireless connection. Its scanning then showing disconnected. can any one have solution? pls. Gingerbread is possible in this phone and 2 Years warranty is Applicable for this update?

This phone is crap. New battery charge last less than a day after the first few weeks, phone crashes all the time and is super slow.

hello. i have huawei u8500 bought six months ago but whenever i downlod items shortly the screen goes black as if its in standby mode but it doesnt resume till i refix the battery. is there anyone can help?
